Central Nine is eLearning. How should students that participate in Internships proceed?

Interns may continue at their job sites if they are comfortable doing so. Central Nine Interns should communicate with their employers to see how to proceed based on their business policies. Students will not be penalized by Central Nine if they choose to remain home while campus is closed.

Health Awareness Update.

March 20, 2020

On Thursday, March 19, 2020, Governor Holcomb announced that all public schools will be closed until May 1, 2020. This decision does include the Central Nine campus.

Central Nine leaders have created an eLearning schedule that will allow instructors and students to collaborate steadily while still utilizing our waiver days.

Our eLearning schedule will proceed as follows: Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday starting April 13th will be eLearning days.

Week 1: April 13th, 15th, and 17th

Week 2: April 20th, 22nd, and 24th

Week 3: April 25th, 29th, and May 1st

(April 6th – 10th will be professional development days for our instructors. These days are for instructors to prepare curriculum, answer questions, and collaborate with other staff members.)

Students should continue to communicate with their instructors for questions regarding course work. For information regarding eLearning, please visit our website at We will be utilizing the Canvas LMS platform for all virtual instruction. Students should log into their Central Nine Canvas Course for more details from their instructor.

The overall safety of our community is the priority. Therefore, to further prevent the spread of colds, flu, and the coronavirus, Central Nine’s campus will NOT be open to the public until Monday, May 4, 2020.
