Criminal Justice

Welcome to our Criminal Justice Program,

This hands-on, training-intensive program holds its students to a high standard and is designed to provide students with the fundamentals for a career in Criminal Justice through academy based training and I.L.E.A standards. This includes areas such as arrests, the use of force continuum, report writing, communications, terrorism/counter terrorism awareness, court operations, corrections, as well as probation procedures.

High School Credit:

5822 Criminal Justice I

5824 Criminal Justice II  

Four credits per semester. Counts as a Directed Elective or Elective for the General, Core 40, Core 40 with Academic Honors and Core 40 with Technical Honors diplomas.

Dual Credit Courses

Criminal Justice 1 (1st year):
CRIM 101- Introduction to Criminal Justice
CRIM 105- Introduction to Criminology

Criminal Justice 2 (2nd year):
CRIM 111- Introduction to Traffic Enforcement and Investigation
CRIM 113- Criminal Investigations

Dual Credit Institution

June 4th, 5th, and 6th 8am- 11:30am


Central Nine is hosting summer camps this June for students who will be in 7th or 8th grade during the fall 2019 school year!

Students can choose to participate in two different camp experiences. Contact for questions.
