This course addresses the knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviors associated with supporting and promoting optimal growth and development of infants and children. You’ll learn the principles of childhood development, how to create a safe and healthful environment, how to guide children, and their learning experiences.
The Early Childhood Education I course is the foundation course under the Early Childhood Care and Education Pathway and prepares the student for employment in early childhood education and services. The Early Childhood Education Career Pathway helps build the students real world teaching experience and provides a basis for the essential skills you need for employment.
Childcare Worker: $22,290 per year / $10.72
