For Parents

5802 Cosmetology I offers an introduction to cosmetology with emphasis on basic practical skills and theories including roller control, quick styling, shampooing, hair coloring, permanent waving, facials, manicuring business and personal ethics, and bacteriology and sanitation. In the second semester greater emphasis is placed on the application and development of these skills. State of Indiana requires a total of 1500 hours of instruction for licensure.
