I have been working in the field of dentistry for over 30 years spending the last 14 in education. I have taught at the post-secondary as well as the high school level. I have been at Central Nine for seven years and taught for seven years before that at Ben Davis High School, Area 31 Career Center. I attended George Washington High School, Professional Careers Institute, Kaplan College, and Indiana University School of Dentistry. The credentials I hold are: CDA, COA, CDPMA, EFDA, CPFDA, and have a Bachelors of Science in Management. I am a member of the American Dental Assistant's Association and the Dental Practice Managers National Association.
My goal as an instructor is to help each student to choose a career pathway that will help them have a rewarding and successful future. Earning dual credit, certifications, and licensure while in or just out of high school is my main focus. Hands on marketable skills are also a big
part of my curriculum. I am a committed educator and love teaching high school. I will work beside each student to make their time spent here at C9 as productive as possible. I deeply care about the success of my students.
